Many of you may not know that I am an ultra-marathoner. Probably because I don't share about my running too often. Yet I am constantly amazed by the places my body and mind take me when I run. Running is such a good teacher. I have learned:

✨ How to turn challenges into opportunities.

✨ That strength and endurance will take time and dedication.

✨ Sometimes injuries happen, and to make a comeback, you have to be patient and open to learning from your mistakes.

✨ To reach your next big goal, you've got to break it up into smaller chunks.

✨ Literally every. single. step. matters. Especially the hard ones.

✨ Long and challenging runs are made better with friends.

I have been humbled by the opportunity to relearn these lessons on the journey of launching my coaching business. Not only am I expanding myself daily with my clients but I am also learning how to use what I know from running to build a practice of coaching. Launching a new career and building a business certainly takes strength, endurance, and dedication. I reflect back to my running practice often to remember that I achieve my goals one step at a time. And if I can run an ultra-marathon that way, I can build a practice that way too. Step by step. Because above all, I know that change happens slowly, a little bit, and then suddenly all at once.
